Heartbeats is a great place to be a volunteer! Are you looking for ways to do more with your pro-life beliefs? Has God equipped you with gifts such as listening, mentoring, and encouraging? Are you burdened and compassionate toward those in unplanned pregnancies or living with the consequences of sex apart from God’s design? Do you have a personal story and desire to use your experience for God’s glory? Heartbeats may be just the place for you to give of your time and talent!
Be a Boutique Clerk: The Boutique Clerk position is a good first step into the ministry. Interact with clients in the uplifting environment of our Boutique. Assist clients as they use the points they’ve earned through our incentive program to “purchase” essential baby and personal items. An application and training are required.
Be a Client Consultant: The Client Consultant position is for those called to work one-on-one with Heartbeats’ clients. This person meets with clients who come in for pregnancy tests, information about their pregnancy options, to participate in the pregnancy & parenting incentive program, or just in need of a listening ear and kind heart. This position is both rewarding and challenging, but one that will enlarge your faith and understanding of God’s heart. Be a Medical Team Member: As part of the Pregnancy Help Medical Clinic team which provides support and care to the clients, the Medical Team Member maintains professional standards of care in conformity with the Hippocratic Oath. The Medical Team Member works in conjunction with clinic volunteers to ensure that clients are receiving the best medical, nursing, and psychosocial care possible.
Safety Coordinator: Responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company’s employees’ safety at work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company complies with and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to reduce work-related injuries.
